Who we are

This website is operated by Ash - Learn to Drive (Ashraf), a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI 846470) trading as a sole operator across Birmingham, UK.

What information we collect

The contact form asks for your name and phone number, which are required, and optionally your email address, a pickup address or postcode, a preferred start date, whether you want manual or automatic lessons, how much driving you have already done, and anything else you want to add. When you submit it, those details are sent to our hosting provider (Netlify) and on to our email provider (Resend), which delivers them to ashlearntodrive@gmail.com. They are used to answer your enquiry and arrange lessons, and are not stored in a database on this site. The "WhatsApp Ash" and phone-number links simply hand off to your phone's dialler or WhatsApp; no data passes through this website when you use those.

How we use it

Any details you send by email or WhatsApp are used only to reply to your enquiry, arrange lessons, and provide the driving tuition service you've asked about. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.

Cookies & analytics

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of its own. If that changes in future, this page will be updated and, where required, you'll be asked for consent first.

Third-party links

Links to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp take you to services operated by Meta, which have their own privacy policies and are not controlled by us.

Data retention

Because enquiries are sent directly from your email app or WhatsApp rather than stored on this website, retention is governed by your own email provider or WhatsApp, and by the inbox they're sent to. We don't keep a separate database of website visitors or enquiries.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete any personal information you've sent us, or ask us to stop using it. To do this, contact us using the details below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children's privacy

This site is intended for people old enough to learn to drive and is not directed at young children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date below shows when it was last revised.
